IS THERE PARKING?
There's a parking lot at the end of Atlantic Avenue. On a good beach day, that lot will fill by 11:30. If you get there past that time go 1/4 mile east of Atlantic Avenue to St. Michael's Lutheran Church. We have a free shuittle bus that goes back and foth to the beach from 9am-5pm.
ARE THERE BATHROOMS?
Yes. There are Men's and Women's bathrooms in the parking lot at Atlantic Avenue with outside showers for both.
IS THERE A CONCESSION STAND?
Yup, and a good one too. They have all kinds of beach food like burgers, hot dogs, sodas and ice cream plus a whole lot more.
DO I HAVE TO PAY JUST TO WATCH?
Not at this contest. Look around as much as you want and make a day of it. Be sure to go to the main tent and buy this year's t-shirt - we have a different artist every year.
WHAT'S THE BEST TIME TO COME TO THE BEACH?
Well, if you're going to enter it officially starts at 9am. Some more enthusiastic people get there at 8am and register later. Most people register between 11and12, but it gets pretty hectic. We also have contestants that don't register until the last minute. Make it easy on the judges and register early.
If you just want to see what everyone built, the best time is at the end of the day, 3-7pm.
