Registration is $10 per group of up to 6 people
o CATEGORIES:
o Sand Fleas (up to age 8 - Must have 1 adult as leader)
o Sand Hoppers (ages 9-15)
o Sand Tribes (families)
o Sand Shapers (adults)
o Sand Pros (professionals)
o Do NOT build in front of the Life Guard stands!!!
o Always observe the Rules of Water Safety. Never leave children alone.
o Do NOT go into the dunes for any reason what so ever.
o Maximum of (6) people per group.
o Power tools or equipment of any kind are not permitted.
o You may use anything you want to build with, but only natural materials native to this beach may be used in the sand sculpture itself.
o Build your sand sculpture below the high tide line.
o Fill in any holes before you leave, contest ends at 4pm.
o Don't leave anything behind when you are finished, leave the beach cleaner than when you came.
o Judging will be based on total points scored in the following categories:Originality Texture Group Fun Animation Quality of Work
o Trophies and Prizes awarded to the Top Three groups in all categories.
o Use the rest room facilities in the parking area.
o Do not disturb any bird nesting areas.
CONTESTANTS WILL HOLD HARMLESS
THE CLAMSHELL FOUNDATION AND THE TOWN OF EAST HAMPTON
FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE CLAIMS
ARISING OUT OF THIS SANDCASTLE CONTEST
